To delete a search function and password-protected page that you accidentally added to your Webflow landing page, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Webflow account and open your project.
- Go to the Pages panel on the left side of the designer.
- Locate the page with the search function or password protection that you want to delete.
- Click on the page to select it.
- In the right panel, click on the "Settings" icon (gear icon) to open the page settings.
- Scroll down to the "Advanced" section.
- Look for the "Search" option or "Password Protection" option, depending on what you want to remove.
- Toggle the switch to turn off the feature. This will disable the search function or remove the password protection.
- Save the changes by clicking on the "Publish" button at the top right of the designer.
Note: If you want to keep the page but remove specific elements from it, you can do so by selecting the element on the page and hitting the "delete" key on your keyboard. This will remove the element from the page without deleting the entire page.
Please remember to review the changes before publishing them to ensure that the search function or password protection has been successfully removed.
Additional Notes:
- If you accidentally deleted a page, you can restore it by going to the "Pages" panel, clicking on the dots next to the project name, and selecting "Deleted Pages." From there, you can choose to restore the deleted page.
- If you want to permanently delete a page from your project, you can do so by selecting the page in the "Pages" panel and clicking on the "Delete" button.
