To set image alt and title tags, as well as link title tags in Webflow for your blog posts, follow these steps:
- Open your Webflow project and navigate to the page where your blog post is located.
- Select the image that you want to add alt and title tags to.
- If the image is already on the page, simply click on it to select it.
- If the image is not on the page yet, go to the Assets panel on the right side, click the "+" button, and upload the image to your project.
- With the image selected, go to the "Settings" tab in the right sidebar.
- In the "Alt Text" field, enter a descriptive text that describes what the image is about. This alt text is used by screen readers to provide a description of the image to visually impaired users. It is also used by search engines to understand the content of the image.
- In the "Title" field, enter a short title or additional information about the image. This title text is often displayed as a tooltip when the user hovers over the image.
- To set a link title tag for a link in your blog post, select the link text or the element that contains the link.
- With the link selected, go to the "Settings" tab in the right sidebar.
- In the "Title" field, enter the text that you want to be displayed as a tooltip when the user hovers over the link.
By adding alt and title tags to your images and link title tags to your links, you are not only enhancing the accessibility of your website but also providing valuable information to search engines, which can improve your website's SEO.
