To delete duplicate blog posts in the Webflow CMS, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Webflow account and navigate to the Editor section.
- From the left-hand side menu, click on the "CMS" tab.
- In the CMS panel, select the Collection that contains the duplicate blog posts you want to delete.
- By default, the CMS panel will display the List View, which shows all the blog posts in that Collection. You can switch to the Table View if you find it more convenient.
- Identify the duplicate blog posts by checking their titles or any other unique identifier.
- Select the duplicate blog posts by clicking on their checkboxes. You can select multiple posts by holding down the Shift or Ctrl key while clicking.
- With the duplicate blog posts selected, click on the "Actions" button at the top of the CMS panel.
- From the drop-down menu, choose "Delete".
- Confirm the delete action when prompted.
- The duplicate blog posts will be permanently deleted from your CMS collection.
Please note that deleting a blog post is irreversible, so make sure you have correctly identified the duplicates before taking this action. It's always recommended to make a backup or export your CMS collection before making any significant changes to your content.
Additional Tips:
- If you have a large number of duplicate blog posts, you may find it helpful to use the search bar at the top of the CMS panel to filter the results based on specific keywords or criteria.
- If you accidentally delete a blog post, you can restore it by going to the "Undo" section in the Editor and finding the respective action to revert.
