How can I change the background color of my responsive menu in Webflow?

To change the background color of your responsive menu in Webflow, you can follow these steps:

  1. Select the menu element: In the Webflow Designer, click on the menu element on your page to select it. You should see the menu element highlighted in the Navigator panel on the left side of the screen.

  2. Navigate to the Style panel: Once the menu element is selected, navigate to the Style panel on the right side of the Designer.

  3. Choose a background color: In the Style panel, scroll down until you find the "Background" section. Click on the color field next to the "Background" label to open the color picker.

  4. Select a color: Use the color picker to choose the desired background color for your responsive menu. You can either select a color from the pre-defined palette or enter a specific color value using the RGB, HEX, or HSL notation.

  5. Apply the changes: After selecting the new background color, the menu element's background color should update in real-time on your page. If you're satisfied with the new color, you can click outside the color picker to close it and save the changes.

  6. Test your changes: Preview your site in the Designer to see how the responsive menu looks with the updated background color. Make sure to test it on different devices and screen sizes to ensure it still appears as intended.

  • To further style your responsive menu, you can adjust other properties in the Style panel, such as text color, font size, padding, and more.
  • If you want different background colors for different states of the menu element (e.g., hover, active, dropdown), you can create class names for each state and style them separately in the Style panel.
